Garage Door Repairs North Shore & Northern Beaches

Ace Garage Doors is a family-owned and operated business led by Scott Riddle. The business operates under the trading name Ace Garage Doors and has over 20 years of experience, with over a decade of dedicated service. It services the North Shore and Northern Beaches area of Sydney, from Mosman to Hornsby and along the Northern Beaches coastline.

The business repairs roller doors, tilt panels, and motors, and offers same-day emergency garage door repairs. It handles broken springs, faulty openers, and off-track doors. The business has served over 5000 locals and has repaired, replaced, and automated hundreds of garage doors across the Northern Beaches. It provides fully insured service and has a team of highly trained staff, and does not use subcontractors.

Across Sydney's northern suburbs, customers describe a service that responds with unusual speed. Several reviewers mention calling about a broken motor or snapped spring and finding a replacement fitted within a day, with one noting a late-afternoon call answered by an installation the following lunchtime. Scott is named repeatedly as the first point of contact, praised for returning messages promptly, arranging visits quickly and following through on what was promised.

Roy also appears by name, credited with smooth, efficient installation work and a courteous manner on site. A detail many reviews return to is the clarity of pricing and payment: quotes are described as quick and fair, and one customer valued being able to pay a deposit with the balance on completion rather than the full amount upfront.

Reviewers note that replacement motors, remotes and springs are carried on the van, so jobs are finished in a single visit, and that doors run noticeably quieter afterwards. Tidiness and a professional finish are mentioned, as is the team's willingness to go beyond the basic repair when a door needs adjustment. The work spans tilt and sectional doors, new motor installations and full door replacements, carried out for homeowners across the northern beaches and lower north shore.
