Brisbane reviewers describe a new electric gate and lock system supplied and installed after another company repeatedly failed to respond to enquiries, with the on-site technician trying to fix the existing setup before recommending replacement. Jesse is named for measuring and repairing a garage door damaged when it was reversed into while only half open, fitted in between other jobs the same day. Deanne and Kylie are credited with fast, friendly scheduling for both servicing and installation work.

4.8 / 5 · 210 totalVery impressed with the customer service at Hoffys Garage Doors. The ladies in both the repairs and installation teams were incredibly helpful and friendly, and they arranged for our garage door to be repaired very quickly. Great communication and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Great experience with Hoffys! We needed our garage door serviced and checked as it stopped operating. The service was awesome, 15 minutes early, very transparent about costs, very knowledgeable and helpful, I was very impressed! The prices were very reasonable! I would highly recommend this Hoffys 😊
The receptionist lady is absolutely lovely. The gentleman (I'm terrible with names, sorry) who came out was professional and became my border collie's new best friend. The guys who installed my garage originally did a terrible job but since these guys came out, I haven't had a single problem! It's so nice to be able to park my car in my garage at night rather than parking it outside and hoping I don't get stabbed hahahaha
Blown away by the service from Hoffy's. We had our garage motors replaced recently by Hoffy's and that was a very smooth experience. Then this morning one of our doors wouldn't close so I called them as soon as they opened at 7am, and they've come straight out by 9:30am to get it fixed. Very impressed and would recommend Hoffy's to anyone. Very friendly customer service from Kylie and the guys who came to fix.
My recent experience with this business was disappointing because of how the situation was handled. I originally contacted B&D regarding an issue with my garage door and was referred to this company. They attended and advised that the opener had a burnt circuit and was not repairable. Because replacing the opener was a significant expense, I took some time to research replacement options. Around four days after the service visit, the garage door dislodged while opening. We contacted the company and were advised by email that the damage occurred because the door had been opened too quickly while being operated manually. Although I had concerns and wanted to better understand what had happened, I was still trying to resolve the issue and move forward, so I accepted their updated quote to have the door repaired without further delay. After accepting the quote, I was later advised by the founding CEO that the business would no longer assist and that the accepted quote had been cancelled. I understand businesses can choose what work they take on. My issue is with the way this was handled. I was trying to reach a resolution and accepted the quote in good faith to get the matter resolved, but instead the accepted work was cancelled and I was left without a clear path forward to repair my garage door. The office staff were friendly and helpful throughout, but the overall handling of the situation left me disappointed and with concerns about the professionalism shown in resolving customer issues.
Great company to deal with, prompt response, fair pricing and very good communications. Jesse, who carried out the work, was professional and courteous. More than happy with the result. Great job.
Ordered doors of these guys on 12th of January. Where fitted very badly on the 12th of march. Had to follow 3 different chains of Communication to finally get someone that would help. 1st chain of communication no reply. 2nd asked for photos via email (that I’ll add) they then called me to tell me that that happened in the manufacturing of the doors and they would not be replacing them. Shocked and taken back I contacted a few people and was informed that this was shocking customer service and they should not fit a Damaged goods. So i contact a 3rd person which was thankful very helpful. Organised for doors to be cleaned, fitted properly and dint to be removed on the 27th of march. To my dismay the dint was made bigger and the glue that I asked to be cleaned off was just smudged in further. (Photos will be added) After this they finally agree to replace the damaged door. Fast forward to the 30th of April. 15 weeks after I’ve ordered these doors my replacement is been fitted. Guess what….. fitted terribly again. Door doesn’t roll up fully. I’ve tried contacting hoffys twice about this to be only ghosted by them. Once again pics will be added.
