What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Ryan is named in every review of this Sydney business, credited with diagnosing a struggling door quickly using parts he already had on hand, and with replacing a motor on a Saturday, a day after the initial fault, within two hours of arriving.
Reviewers describe him linking a front sliding door remote to the garage door remote as part of a repair, and giving quotes over the phone from photos alone. A belt drive replacement with careful attention to correct motor programming also features in the sample.

Day 1 quote Day 2 install confirmed Day 3 install completed in 1 hour for 2 door openers. What more can a client ask for? Oh yes, cost. Cheaper than competitor by $300.
Very pleasant to get in touch with to ask for a quote and arrange appointment. Professional service on replacing the belt drive. Ryan has attention to detail and making sure the motor is programmed correctly.
My Garage door motor was broken so I called Ryan from ABD Garage Doors, he was able to give me a quote with a reasonable price over the phone. He turned up at the same day and replaced the broken motor with a new one very efficiently within 2 hours. He even gave me some useful tips to maintain the garage door properly. Ryan was excellent, professional and knowledgeable. I’m very happy with the service and highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Ryan!
Garage door seemed to struggle when opening. Ryan was able to identify the issue and had it fixed in no time. The price was reasonable for service and replacement of parts which he had on hand. I would highly recommend Ryan for his professionalism and quality work.
I moved into a house with an old garage door and opener that caused significant vibration in the living space above whenever it was used, which was stressful for my wife and our cats. I was prepared to spend a fair bit of money replacing both the door and the opener, and I had already received several quotes ranging from $5k to $7k. Ryan was the last installer I contacted, and he was the only one who accurately diagnosed that the issue was coming primarily from the opener. Instead of recommending an unnecessary full replacement, he suggested upgrading the opener to a Merlin unit. I followed his advice, and now the garage door operates quietly and smoothly. He came out promptly for both the inspection and installation, was well mannered, communicated clearly, and completed the job with excellent workmanship. Ryan is knowledgeable, honest, and highly professional. I strongly recommend his services.
Ryan’s Garage Door Repair service is highly efficient and prompt, his pricing is fair and he looks after the best interests of his clients. I’d definitely engage ABD and Ryan for my next Garage Door job or any future clients requiring similar services.
Can’t believe he fixed the damaged garage door so quickly and amazingly. Highly recommend!
