JMC Garage Doors

JMC Garage Doors is a local family owned business servicing residential property owners, builders and property managers in the ACT and Queanbeyan. The business specialises in garage door motors, springs, service and repair, and its service area covers the ACT, Queanbeyan and Googong. JMC Garage Doors carries common parts on the van and treats broken springs as a priority callout. It offers up to 7 years warranty on the openers it installs and recommends servicing your garage door every 12 months.

The standard service includes a safety check, adjusting tracks and spring tension, checking cables, bearings, hinges and wheels, lubricating moving parts, and checking and adjusting automatic openers. JMC Garage Doors can supply and fit a panel or roller garage door to your home or business. Its main services are motor and spring repair, motor installation, annual servicing and new garage doors.

JMC Garage Doors draws consistent praise from customers across Canberra for honest, reliable work on garage doors and roller doors. A theme that comes up often is Pete's willingness to diagnose problems properly rather than push unnecessary replacements; several reviewers describe being told a full replacement was not needed when a simple repair would do, and one notes that a suspected roller door foot replacement turned out to be a straightforward fix. Punctuality and responsiveness are repeatedly mentioned, with calls answered promptly, after-hours enquiries returned, and jobs often completed the next day or within an hour of arrival.

Customers describe clear quotes, fair and realistic pricing, and explanations delivered in plain language. Maintenance advice also features strongly, whether tips shared on site, troubleshooting over the phone before a call-out, or guidance on resetting security codes and reprogramming remotes after a theft. Reviewers highlight Pete's friendly manner, patience with children present, and a professional, unhurried approach to each job. Work ranges from servicing squeaky and heavy doors, retensioning, de-squeaking, spring and motor replacement, and lifter swaps to panel lift and roller door repairs. The recurring thread is trust in an honest tradesperson who does what he promises.
