Open & Shut Garage Doors

Open & Shut Garage Doors is an accredited B&D Dealer and a division of F & P East Pty Ltd. The company operates a showroom in Charing Cross, Waverley, and services all areas of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney only. It provides garage door repairs and maintenance, automation, supply and installation, and remotes. Free quotes are offered for new doors and motors.

Waverley and the surrounding eastern suburbs are where this roller door specialist carries out most of its work, and the feedback left by clients centres on how quickly problems are diagnosed and resolved. Several buyers describe technicians arriving sooner than expected and completing repairs or replacements within a single visit, whether the job involves a snapped cable, a broken remote control or a door that simply will not open. Anthony is singled out repeatedly for his clear explanations and honest advice, with one client noting that he fixed an issue at no charge rather than selling unnecessary parts.

One thing mentioned again and again is the willingness to talk through options before any work begins, including converting a manual door to electric operation and sourcing a made-to-measure replacement after storm damage. Reviewers also mention the tidiness of the finished installation and the care taken to explain newly fitted accessories such as remotes and wall buttons. Fair pricing and responsiveness are recurring themes, particularly where other trades failed to reply at all. The team also handles electric gate motors, and the same dependable manner carries through from the first call to the final check of the door.
