They didn't show up at the allocated time, tried to contact them, was put through to Brisbane office who couldn't see booking system. After 1.5 hours of waiting finally spoke to someone in Townsville who said sorry technician won't be attending, no notice, no communication. Took my business elsewhere. Extremely disappointing experience.
Paid for a garage roller door deposit in April. They came and measured. Paid the balance in June. Came to install and didnt fit. Told we would be refunded. Still waiting for refund in August after many calls and emails. Not very professional
Excellent service from sales rep - rick Very helpful , answered all my questions. Was very quick to get a quote back. Very happy with my garage door. Highly recommend
Service Technician was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. A great experience.
They wanted to charge $90.00 to book a service call and can't attend for a week at least. They practice the worst business model I have ever encounter in Australia. Their 5 year warranty is voided if not inspected yearly but not clearly disclosed. My enquirers about this were met with sarcasm and distain from the young business representative on the phone. I called elsewhere and my garage was fixed within two hours.
Motor malfunctioned twice within close timeframe, staff unable to attend immediately to investigate (understandably). Luckily garage spontaneously recovered but I don’t know for how long. Knowing that it is temperamental and I didn’t want my family to get caught out again, Steel line recommended and scheduled us in for a “service”. Technician attended and only lubricated the garage door, no diagnostics, no checking on motors electrical components. When I queried this 5 minutes service, Technician said nothing can be done unless they are present when the malfunction happens, such oxymoron situation because when we called on the day of the malfunction the technicians were unavailable for at least 3-4 weeks. What a waste of time and money. Anybody can lubricate their own garage door with lanolin. Took a day off work to accommodate this $145 “service”.
Within a short period of time the motor was malfunctioning on 3 separate occasions the manager was asked to ring me back he never rang me to discuss the problem. I eventually contacted another service provider who sorted the issue with minimal fuss.
