Active Garage Doors

Active Garage Doors is a proprietary limited company with over 35 years of experience in the garage door industry. It is based in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula and is an authorised distributor. The company specialises in garage door service, repairs, installation, and residential and commercial garage doors.

It provides garage door sales, installation and services to south-east Melbourne areas including Frankston, Mornington, Hastings, Rosebud, Sorrento, Balnarring, Pakenham and surrounding areas. Active Garage Doors offers free, no obligation quotes and emergency garage door repairs and service. Its installers and service technicians are highly skilled and experienced.

New panel lift, tilt and roller doors supplied and installed form the core of the work described by customers of this Melbourne company, along with motor replacements, servicing of existing doors and panel repairs. Jesse and Paul are named repeatedly, and reviewers consistently highlight their knowledge and the clear explanations given during quoting and installation. Advice on options features often, particularly where a low garage roof or an ageing door calls for a different approach or an honest assessment of whether repair or replacement makes sense. Quoting is described as prompt and thorough, with measuring carried out on site and samples or photographs of similar completed jobs used to illustrate the likely result.

Punctuality is another recurring theme, with several accounts noting that appointments and installation dates were met as arranged. Customers describe the finished doors as operating smoothly and quietly, and mention sealing against brickwork and careful attention to colour matching when a factory-supplied panel did not align, with the issue acknowledged and resolved. Pricing is characterised as fair and competitive, and the after-sales follow-up attracts frequent comment. Servicing that avoided an unnecessary motor replacement is cited as evidence of honest advice.
