Absolutely stoked with the job from Illawarra Garage Doors. They replaced our old garage door and went above and beyond by installing the new door higher so my 4x4 now fits in the garage perfectly. Definitely recommend Illawarra Garage Doors. I had an issue with my garage door and they promptly attended that day and secured it as the whole door needed to be replaced. They provided me with a quote which was reasonable and significantly cheaper than other quotes I received. Dave was super friendly and great to deal with.

I phoned to discuss garage door options with Stephanie. I explained that a competitor had given us a quote and we were looking for another. She said they were more experienced than them and to send photos to their email. I did that the same day. Then followed up 6 days later to chase up as I hadn’t heard back from them. She claimed that I had only sent the email a couple days ago and that Dave is very busy and we hung up. I called back and wanted to clarify if/when we’d hear back as the previous discussion was pretty vague. She then said she won’t worry about wasting Dave’s time with showing him the photos as the job seems complicated. So why not just tell me that to begin with, instead of giving me incorrect information and then potentially making me play the waiting game for longer. We’re all busy, not just Dave. 👎🏼 *** edited to add my response to your fabricated reply: 1. I should learn to be patient? I’m sorry? How was I being impatient? By phoning up a second time after your vague discussion about Dave and him being busy? With no indication of how much longer you wanted me to wait after saying I had only sent my email a couple of days ago when I had sent it 6 days ago? And not sure how you are qualified to advise people to be patient? 2. I rang back with attitude? Please explain? Could it have been that your arrogance frustrated a customer who was after paying your business for service? 3. My abusive comments? Which were what? Please expose them here as I did not say anything abusive or rude. All I said was “hey, are you Stephanie? We just spoke a few minutes ago and I found the convo a little vague. I just checked my emails and I had sent it 6 days ago, wondering if or when Dave will get back to me?” And then you kept talking and talking. You sounded nervous and then you became rude by saying you won’t bother with wasting his time. So where and how was I abusive? You can not fabricate lies to try and save face. You are clearly someone who feels very entitled, and must be stuck in a rut as you think you can treat people this way without receiving backlash. I’m now glad my money won’t be going to you/your business. What a joke!

Great service from Dave and team. My garage door opener suddenly stopped working. Dave helped with some triage before coming out, as I couldn’t sort this issue. He swapped my working motor with the broken one. Fast, efficient service, very helpful. He was also able to come the same day to fix the issue. Recommended.

Great communication with owner regarding noisy garage door replacement. Very nice tradesmen turned up absolutely on time to install new motor. No fuss, job completed very quickly.

Very responsive and excellent service. David arrived on time the day after the problem with my garage door occurred and fixed the issue at a very reasonable price.
