J&E Roller Door Repairs

WARNING: DO NOT ENGAGE! I usually don’t leave bad reviews but our experience with this business was so disappointing and distressing to our family members - it deserves a 1 star rating. Our roller door stopped working, so we called this business, seeing it had a 4.8 rating on Google. Instead of providing helpful guidance, the worker was rude and aggressive over the phone, giving confusing instructions that made little sense to someone with no experience repairing garage doors. He became frustrated when we didn’t understand. When he arrived, he continued speaking to us in a condescending manner and, after fixing the door, said, “See, it’s fixed - exactly how I told you over the phone,” as if we were expected to know how to do his job. To top it off, we were charged what we felt was an excessive amount. Poor customer service and an unpleasant experience. Felt like we were an inconvenience instead of being treated like a paying customer. We do NOT recommend this business.

Great experience with James fixing our panel lift garage door. Stacey was great in customer service, enabling the door to be fixed same day. James gave sound recommendations based on his decades of experience, saving us time and money by replacing both cables, servicing the unit and giving sound advice. Highly recommend, will use again.

I cannot thank the team enough (especially Stacey for taking my panic, stressed call) for their prompt and exceptional service during an unexpected emergency at our home today. In the midst of Melbourne’s extreme and unpredictable windy weather, our roller door suddenly dislodged from its tracks, posing both a safety risk and a significant concern for our family. Out of the several companies I contacted, this team was the only one able to respond within 30 minutes — an incredibly rare and much-appreciated level of responsiveness, especially during such a busy time. From the very first phone call, the customer service was warm, professional, and genuinely understanding of the urgency of the situation. A special mention must go to James who attended the job. He is an absolute standout — not only highly knowledgeable and clearly experienced, but also one of the most courteous and down-to-earth professionals I’ve encountered in years. His confidence and calm reassurance immediately put us at ease. The repair work was carried out to an impeccable standard, using high-quality materials, and with a level of care and precision that truly reflects pride in his craft. You are amazing !!!! The cost of the repair was very affordable, absolutely justified and worth every dollar, given the quality of workmanship and prompt service provided. It’s rare to come across such a reliable and dedicated team, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of roller door repairs or servicing. Our garage door spring snapped in the middle of the weekend, not only did we receive a prompt reply from our inquiry, Toli also provided a quote with clear pricing and options for our repairs. He also went out of his way to assist us to remove our car from the garage so we could use it until the repairs were completed. Very happy, Thank You Toli.
