Steel-Line Garage Doors Cairns

Originally I booked an appointment for a garage motor replacement a month in advance and paid for it. The day came around and the job actually was not even booked in which I did not know until I called after the booking time. I called head office and fortunately dealt with some extra assistance and was re booked for the following day. The technician came out and told me he could not do the job due to a vehicle being in the way. Which is odd because he had done the other one previously with a vehicle there. A few days later a different guy completed the job in a fraction of the time compared to the other initial job. I was advised I would receive some of my money back due to the stuff around which never happened. It is a very poor customer outcome.

Edit to original review.. Yes, still 1 star. Sad that it takes this 1 star review for you to get in touch. You were dealing with my husband who chased you 4 times over 6 weeks. If you don't know who this customer is, how many others have you not replied to? Hopeless. Chased them for 5 weeks to come out for a measure and quote. No show, no quote. Made numerous excuses.

Edited 04/09/25 - they replied me back, waited another week and they just don’t care about giving quotes back. Never use them. Not trust worthy. —————— I recently made and online enquiry and asked for a quote. They emailed me back that a Cairns branch staff will be calling within 2 business day... and I never got a call for the past week. Tried calling and no one answered, so I've just sent them another message. It's hard to maintain trust and confidence towards a worker, when they already struggle with a simple task of "calling a person in specific time". I will edit the review if their jobs are good. (In the end, it comes down to how good the garage door is... right?) But at the moment, their management skill is 1 star.

I lost my remote. Called Steel line, who called me back. Teagan was excellent, helpful, personable. Even suggested I purchase the remote elsewhere, cheaper, and if I have any trouble programming it to my rolladoor, to call back and they would guide me! Wow! Really impressed, thankyou
