Hard to arrange quote, Didn`t come in time said, i just rang to ask if they can make it today last day to send motions to AGM and they said inspection was booked tmrw 8am. They would have turned up unannounced and probably unable to happen. So we cancelled because they may not have been able to get quote in on time. Thats fine. They added workers are out today, thats also fine, but when i suggested to just pass onto the workers when they return that my address is a 2 minutes walk away from theirs for a 5 minute inspection & quote she hung up on me. Professional. UPDATE TO REPLY: Their reply is missing the point. I knew the time frame they gave me first time they said it, but they didn`t turn up in that time frame. Also they had booked the next morning without alerting me, so they would have turned up and I likely coudln`t have been around for them. Lastly the receptionist wasn`t even prepared to pass onto the workers what i said that the nature of my quote being a brief one around the corner and to leave to the workers to decide whether to visit or not, she simply said no then hung up on me. Judging from other reviews here too, their reception needs to work more on communicating appointments when booked and being more patient and receptive with customers.

Given the poor reviews prior to this, my experience sadly aligns. If you're looking for an out-of-touch business that clearly hasn't adapted to the digital age and shows little interest in delivering quality support or service, this is it. With over 15 years in commercial, retail, and project management, both locally in Cairns and nationally, I’ve never encountered a business more evidently past its use-by date. It’s clear they need to seriously reassess how they operate day to day. It's unfortunate, as there’s likely a wealth of expertise within the business that's being completely wasted and given a very bad reputation locally.

The whole process of getting a quote, accepting it & having our insulating window roller shutters installed on our house was attended to promptly by Jason & his team. We were happy with his punctuality&professionalism . One quote we received was double what Jason charged us for the same product without the hard sell & pressure to accept. We are extremely happy with our shutters which have improved our security & comfort. Thankyou The Roller Door Man, highly recommend.

I used this company under a fortnight ago to service a roller door and failed to operate at building and peat inspection. I contacted them and advised and asked them to return to site and fix and was advised they don’t warrant their work (would have to pay for again) and will take 10 days to get back there. Pathetic service and staff are just as rude. Strongly recommend avoiding these cowboys

Installed a roller door on my unit and its been 7 months and still perfect and the custom fitting they did as well was perfect. From start to finish they were great. Thanks again

Can't even get a garage key fixed in a timely manner. Poor communication, staff are not helpful. They book appointments before discussing the availability of the customer, They just assume you'll be home. If you miss the appointment they've booked without your knowledge, then good luck trying to re-book as reception says "the booking person is unavailable and I don't know when they'll be in next". The tradies will call you the day of the job and if you don't answer well good luck getting anything fixed.

All I can say is these guys were great from start to finish. The installers were great blokes and did a great job. Do not hesitate to use them, I am happy we did.
