Disappointed. Took forever to install door. Timeline given was incorrect. Lacks communication and honesty. Terrible at returning calls. Boss needs to step up otherwise word of mouth is very strong.

Mal was very nice and a great talking salesman, but we had numerous errors which delayed install and these guys kept blaming their supplier. Wrong collar supplied, then panels cut incorrectly by supplier, then the installer removed a panel he should not have, installer cut the merlin motor cable too short....all caused delays and inconvenience. We now have 2 different colour panels, left panel and right side panels are different, and these guys have their money now and don't care to return to fix the issue. I spoke to the business owner who had a very condescending tone and told me to go buy paint and paint the right side myself to match the left side. In view of all the errors made and how accommodating we were, you would think they would as courtesy and customer service buy the paint and return to paint the panel themselves. I never leave a review unless it's 5 star, but so very disappointed at these guys.

I hired Sydney Garage Doors to fix a roller door to replace the steel hinged gate in the carport, as they came out with a solution and a reasonable quote for this non-standard installation. The installation was done by technicians Malcolm and Jarred which was done very professionally. Malcolm also accepted and implemented my suggestion to further strengthen the two posts during their mounting, as this was a non-standard installation. A few other door installers I had approached found this job too hard even to quote. I can gladly recommend this company to anyone seeking a garage door contractor who understands and meets the customer requirements.

We engaged John and the team at Sydney Garage Doors to design, supply and install a bespoke timber clad panel lift door at our new home in the Blue Mountains. The door presented numerous challenges as we required it to be clad in Silvertop Ash to match the rest of the timber cladding on the house, and insulated on the inside to provide an effective R value to help cope with the climate in the upper Mountains. This resulted in a very heavy door requiring custom springs and a robust mounting solution. The team visited our project on several occasions to talk through our requirements, suggesting effective solutions along the way. I delivered our timber cladding to the factory to be installed on the aluminium frame, and was impressed with the attention to detail shown by the manufacturing team as we discussed fixings methods, timber selection and setout. We've ended up with a beautiful and effective garage door that operates smoothly and will perfectly match the external aesthetic of the building. We will use Sydney Garage Doors again on our next project.
