Tilt door wouldn’t open. Problem identified over the phone. Temporary repaired next day. When fitting replacement spring some maintenance to door was completed. Good communication. Positive experience.
Just had a new Merlin Elite Control installed. Great service. So polite efficient and cleaned up everything. Went beyond to install the garage remote on the brick wall. Most companies just leave you to it and I’m on my own so really appreciated it. Works like a dream and is so quiet. My son recommended them for the same reasons. Soooo good 👏👏
The installers arrived on time. Initially they did not have everything needed for the job, but that was soon corrected and the job completed. Unfortunately, and this is no reflection on Affordable Openings, the door as supplied by Gliderole, has an apparent paint defect, which was not visible until installation was completed. The new door is a massive improvement over the door it replaced, but will be replaced under warranty in the next 2 months. Overall I'm happy with the outcome.
We had an issue with our garage door not closing when the remote was used. Brent came out and gave us a quote for the job and also went into a lot of the details of the garage and we learned a lot. Greg came out and did the fix, there was a small issue that required a second visit and Greg was out the next week and got it all fixed up. We were really impressed with Affordable Openings and would recommend if you have garage issues.
Absolutely fabulous company, I called with a situation with our garage door and was not able to get into our house, they came the next day and put a temporary spring in to allow us to open the door until they come back to install new springs. They were so helpful, supportive and prompt, their communication is exceptional as well as their service team.
Have used them a few years back and was really good to deal with Had issues with the remote and they were able to fix it. When I called back to arranged getting another door made up, left my details and specifically said to call me when they would like to come out for a quote. Unfortunately I missed their messages, even though I did specifically say to call me, Rang back to sort this out, but the person on the other line was very rude and arrogant, Telling me how messages were sent out to our phones and how we have missed their day for someone to come out to quote. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to message back. But there was no need to be rude on the phone and speak to someone like that. It’s a shame, the work is great. But customer service over the phone from the young guy is disgraceful
